Five cedar log chalets on 9 acres of premium Nova Scotia wilderness fronting on a small lake perched high on top of Hampton Mountain, between the beautiful Annapolis Valley and world famous tides of the Bay of Fundy. Each chalet is fully furnished with propane fireplaces and inviting large decks overlooking the lake. Three 1 bedroom and two 2 bedroom chalets with bedroom loft. Chalets one and five have jacuzzi's. Three of the five chalets are wheelchair accessible with a large ceramic walk-in shower and ramps.
There are plenty of nearby wood trails accessible for hiking, biking, skiing, ATV's and snowmobiling. The local attractions, just to name a few, including Valley View Park (2 min), Bay of Fundy (5min), Windgate Weddings (14 min), Eden Golf & Country Club (14 min), Delaps Cove (25 min), Port Royal National Historic Site (37 min), Beavercreek Wineries & Cafe (22 min), Lunn's Mill Beer Company (22 min) and Still Fired Distilleries (27 min). The friendly town of Bridgetown is only 8 minute drive down the mountain.

Do not underestimate the photos of this little cottage! It is much more than what is pictured: a peaceful, warm retreat into the quiet of the woods and lake. Even with our rubbish weather, we were able to enjoy the hot tub, the heated bathroom floor, a walk in the rain, a canoe ride, and the warmth of the fireplace while doing a puzzle and singing songs. Sonja was extremely quick and kind in her replies and even got the furnace guys to come by to fix it while it unexpectedly stopped working. We had a marvelous and romantic Thanksgiving weekend. Thank you & hope to be back again soon!

Quiet getaway, great way to get out of the city for a weekend. Not a far drive from gorgeous look outs, Bay of Fundy & local swimming. Chalet #1 was spotless & fully stocked with amenities, wasn’t missing a thing. Jacuzzi tub was a great way to end the evening, candles supplied and heated floors. Could have asked for a better Anniversary weekend away!

This was such a beautiful place to stay. It's directly on the lake and is a great escape into nature. We went canoeing on the lake and took our dogs on hikes through the woods. We even saw a beaver patrolling the lake. Sonja was excellent to deal with and check-in was simple. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Sonja’s cabin is an amazing little wilderness retreat. It is clean, well-equipped, and even has a bathtub jacuzzi and heated bathroom floor! It is very private and has its own dock on a pretty little lake where we stargazed and watched beavers eating the water lilies! Sonja is a great host and very quick to respond to any messages. I wish we could have stayed longer.
